Local in Vegas, LiV, was started out of the frustration of hunting for event, festivals, and all the local gems where we wouldn’t get stuck in tourist traps. The goal of this space is to start with events that bring us all together then expand to be THE destination for those already here and those who plan to move to this dynamic city. We have big plans!
A little about us: Originally from Oregon, we relocated to The Valley in 2023 from Colorado. Raising our four kids, we found great joy in attending festivals, finding nature, and exploring local wherever we lived. The last city we lived in, we found a great need for an events based aggregation site to bring the community together. We were astonished how quickly it grew and the overwhelming response from our neighbors. So here we are again, wanting to explore our new home and on a treasure hunt we want to share with our new neighbors.
To all of you around the Valley, from Boulder City to Henderson, from North Las Vegas to Mesquite, and Summerlin to Paradise, don’t worry, we have plans to include you too.
